Candle Care

TO KEEP YOUR CANDLE BURNING BEAUTIFULLY

Always burn until wax melts to the side of jar. This will prevent candle tunnelling.

Keep the candle wick trimmed to 4mm - 6mm. This will ensure a long and even burn.  If you notice the candle smoking with a large flame, it means the wick is too long. Extinguish the candle and trim the wick to 4mm. If you have a medium sized flame you will get more burn time out of the candle.  Sometimes the wick will have a little curl at the top, make sure this is removed as the flame will be large and will have a tendency to smoke.

Last but not least...
Stay safe. Do not move candles when lit or if the wax is still liquid.  The glass jar will be hot. Never leave a candle unattended, place it in a draughty area or burn the wax down to the base.

So as to get full use from our Candle, when you have burned it to the last 10mm, pop the Jar in the freezer and take it out after 30 mins and the wax will simply fall out.  It’s lovely to melt on an oil burner for even more fabulous fragrance! And don’t forget once you have thoroughly washed your Jar (it even goes in the dishwasher) it can be used with its sealable Lid to store some of your favourite things….
